But consider this - we now have:
A very powerful and growing, Military/Security/Police state,
with an extremely charismatic, media-savvy man in charge,
who’s in bed with the most powerful bankers in the world,
legally separating himself from the restraints of our Constitution.
Plus an easily entertained & distracted public.

Next stop: an “event” giving them the reason to “protect” us
(from any citizens who don’t agree with their policies)?

“King of Kings”?!

“Son of God”?

WE bound him

I saw it myself.

Maybe “no man could speak as he did” - he’s a sly one, but

Wev’e set things straight.

No more clever man have I met

But look at him now - beaten, bloody

can’t lift his own head

Illegitimate son searching for a father - he picked God

but it’s all in his head, where is his father now?

a gifted man, truly unique

but pride is a subtle thing

too bad he didn’t understand the facts, the system

he could have gone far

but he’s just a man, nailed to a tree,

unfortunate but necessary.

He was kind I heard - kind but misguided!

Discipline & law, black & white, we gave him chances to get in line

but under that calmness, he just didn’t get along

Racism is hateful, and as destructive to the racist as to the person(s) they demonize.

I’m kind of new to “Twitter”, and I’m finding it very invigorating (and addicting).

But also heartbreaking.

There is rampant racism there…(okay, not racism, but something very akin to it) - unthinking hatred of the “other”.

People will claim there to be enlightened, caring, open-minded, but ask to dialog about their party or candidate and an iron door comes down.

Whole groups of people are labeled: “bigots”, “uncaring”, “haters”, “idiots”, “Fascists”, “Socialists”. And in that way they are shoved aside as unimportant.

It’s a strategy to make yourself feel bigger, but listening only to those you agree with, is a recipe for growing smaller.

We are all in the same boat here. Don’t be afraid where truth might lead you.

The Red or the Blue pill?

What if?: Here’s the game:
(1) GOP & Dems both like to keep us scared, (so they can increase their power).
(2)Us being scared, and needing comfort, we gravitate to leaders that comfort us. How do they comfort us? This year it’s Obama’s turn - he comes on with a silver tongue and puts on quite a show - some days he plays “Strong Daddy”, other days, it’s “Basketball Buddy” - always well calculated. The GOP promises to save us from Bad countries & terrorists, falling morality, etc. - again well choreographed (though not nearly as slick as Obama).
Ron Paul plays the nutty old scientist warning us about the coming comet in this movie, ( Will we heed his warning in time?!), waving his hands and pointing out we are about to drive off the cliff.
Unfortunately for him, his message is scary and his solution - to give every individual more freedom over their personal lives, doesn’t comfort most people - it’s messy! And his answers aren’t in easy to repeat slogans. So he is easily demonized and ignored by the other players in this game.
(3) In the end, either we choose leaders using gut reactions -(usually just looking for comforting answers - even if false). OR we take the time to face into a lot of difficult information, lies, slander & bias, to sort out the true facts. We discuss the issues with people that we disagree with, or fear, or don’t like - but we do it to find truth. Remember they like to “divide & conquer” - let’s stay together!
You are smart, and strong, you can sort through this - don’t swallow the Kool-aid, choose wisely, for all of us. Don’t play their game!

Fear is why we are not standing up and stopping: the NDAA, EEA, Patriot Act, HR347, ACTA. Where is the outcry among artists, filmmakers, writers!?

In 2008, actors, artists and musicians were politically vocal - They stood up and used their huge power! Now our right to make art that the government does not approve of, is at risk, and they are silent!
